In diesem Jahr finden die beliebten Kurzfilmabende unter dem Motto „Ein Abend voller Leckerbissen“ statt. Und das ist durchaus doppeldeutig gemeint. Neben insgesamt 20 internationalen filmischen Leckerbissen haben wir erstmalig auch ein kulinarische Programm: Wir freuen uns, dass Sabai Sabai Thai Cuisine für das Filmfest nach Oberursel zurückkehrt. Auch der Grill vom Kunstgriff e.V. versorgt unsere mit deftigem BBQ und Getränken, während AfroFusionKitchen afrikanisches Essen aufs Filmfest zaubert. Am Samstag Abend bereichert uns Bottega aus Oberursel mit Arancini & Kaffee.
Musik & Gespräche
Der Rushmoor-Park lädt zum Verweilen ein. Im Hintergrund Live-Musik und erste Gespräch mit Filmemachern. Dazu ein kühles Getränk. Und wenn es dunkel wird, ist großes Kino angesagt. Ein Event für die ganze Familie. Und wer sich selbst versorgen möchte, ist herzlich willkommen.

This year, the popular short film evenings are taking place under the motto „A nigt of bites and delights“. And that is meant quite ambiguously. In addition to a total of 20 international cinematic delicacies, we also have a culinary program for the first time. We are delighted that Sabai Sabai Thai Cuisine is returning to Oberursel for the film festival. In addition to Thai Food, the Kunstgriff e.V. will BBQ and serve drinks while AfroFusionKitchen will offer African’s finest cuisine. Lastly, Bottega joins us on Saturday with Arancini and Coffee.
Music & Talks
The Rushmoor Park invites you to linger. Live music and initial discussions with filmmakers in the background. With a cool drink. And when it gets dark, it’s time for the big screen. An event for the whole family. And anyone who wants to cater for themselves is very welcome.

Synopsis: The song „Garden of Eden“ is visually realized through metaphors from the Old Testament, employing a tropical garden, a snake, an apple, and a church. The premise is „Stay true to yourself.“ The artist and protagonist find themselves torn between societal norms and their own identity. In this dilemma, they must choose between the apple and the snake. However, the snake here represents not the devil, but rather the path one can and should take on their own. Initially, the artist chooses the apple. The artist finds themselves in what seems like paradise, visually represented by a tropical setting. However, an industrial street, symbolizing reality, hints that this paradise is merely a facade. The individuals in paradise represent our society. Society consists of sinners who believe they are doing what is right but in reality, succumb to pressure and norms. This is illustrated through the act of eating apples. The protagonist himself wants to belong, but fails in the attempt. Similarly, he feels the urge to bite into the apple rather than eat it with a knife and fork like the others. By gaining self-confidence and remaining true to himself, the protagonist bites into the apple at the end of the video. In a world where everyone is alike, he stands out to fulfill his own potential.
